Founded by Todd Mills, a Navy veteran with more than two decades of service supporting both conventional and special operations forces, Colony Coffee was built from a deep appreciation for service, resilience, heritage, and the moments of calm found in a good cup of coffee before the day begins. Todd’s connection to the American story extends beyond military service. Descending from early colonial American ancestry, his family lineage includes ancestors who rendered material support to the Continental Army and served under General George Washington during the Revolutionary War — a legacy of service, sacrifice, and patriotism that continues to inspire the foundation of this brand today.

Our brand draws inspiration from the character of colonial America — a time defined by perseverance, self-reliance, courage, and conviction. Those same qualities still live on today in the people who wake before sunrise, stay late to finish the job, look after their families, and quietly carry responsibility without complaint.
